Laying of 145.965 km (approx.) long, 24" (610 mm) OD, 10.8/12.4/12.7/15.5 mm WT, API 5L Gr. X-70, PSL-2, SAWL/ SAWH, main pipeline from 3 km approx. downstream of existing SV-24 at Krishangiri district (Ch. 0.000) to upstream of proposed SV-9 (Ch. 145.965 km approx.). • Hook-up with existing 24” KKBMPL section at 3 km approx. downstream of existing SV-24 station at Ch. 0.000 km, in Krishnagiri district. • Entire works at Intermediate Pigging Station (IPS-1) at Ch. 84.523 km including installation of 12” tap-off point, valves, scraper trap, insulating joints and all piping works, including all associated mechanical, civil, structural, architectural, electrical and instrumentation/ telecom works. • Entire works at Sectionalizing Valve Stations (9 nos.) including installation of 12” Tap-off point at each SV station, valves, insulating joints wherever applicable and all piping works, including all associated mechanical, civil, structural, architectural, electrical and instrumentation/ telecom works. • Receiving & taking over of scrapper traps, pig signaler, insulating joints, flow tees, valves (of size 8” & above) from Company’s designated place of issue including arrangement of all trailers, cranes, manpower etc. • Installation of pipeline across NH-44 at Ch. 79.394 km and at Ch. 84.990, by Cased Crossing method. • Installation of Pipeline at crossings of road, utilities, underground pipelines and water crossings (canal/ nala/ drain) etc. • Co-ordination with Pipeline Information Management System (PIMS) Contractor & providing details for uploading in PIMS. • All works related to pre-testing, flushing, gauging and hydrostatic testing, dewatering, swabbing and tie-in with adjoining pipeline/ station piping. • Pre-commissioning & Commissioning assistance of the pipeline part and associated facilities. • Carrying out calliper pigging (EGP) & magnetic cleaning of pipeline under both the construction spreads i.e. spread A & B. • Idle time preservation of pipeline, if required. • All works related to Optical fibre cable laying sub-ducted in HDPE duct in the entire part as mentioned elsewhere in the bid document. • Pre-commissioning & commissioning assistance of the pipeline and associated facilities. • Installation of river crossings by open cut method/ any other method as described subsequently in this document. • Installation of pipeline and other associated works at Toppur reserve forest from Ch. 79.488 km to Ch. 84.954 km and at Manukondamalai Reserve Forest from Ch. 89.424 km to 90.811 km. • Installation of pipeline at crossings of roads, utilities, underground pipelines and water crossings (canal/ nala/ drains). • Tie-in on either side of pipeline sections across four (4 nos.) railway crossings installed by others using HDD method (under separate contract) shall be carried out by the Contractor (Pipeline laying contractor or the HDD Contractor) whosoever finishes the work later at this location. It is estimated that the 04 nos. HDDs across railway crossings are to be executed by other agency.
